As seen in Episode 5x06 "316", the exact circumstances of the first crash must occur again in order for Jack and the rest to return to the island, meaning that it has to be Jack(instead of taking his father's coffin, it's Locke's coffin), Kate, Sun, Hurley(now carrying a similar instrument as Charlie, becoming the new Charlie), and Sayid(who is being guarded by a marshal, similar to Kate in the first crash)

His vision said the baby had to be save, and when he spoke to Eko, he thought that it meant they baby had to be baptized.
